Remember The Titans: Racism
Racism is discrimination directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race was superior.  The Holocaust  is a classic example of institutionalized racism which led to the death of millions of people based on race. While the concepts of race and ethnicity are considered to be separate in contemporary social science, the two terms have a long history of equivalence in both popular usage and older social science literature. In the movie Remember The Titans was about blacks trying to play football with an all American team. The white team mates would be races towards the blacks. For example, In the movie another coach from a different school was getting interviewed and he said that his all american team is trained to knock the chocolate off of people. Another example on the first day of school parents and students started a boycott because they didn’t want the blacks to be in their school. Coach boom didn’t want to have racism in his football team, so he took the whole team to a college to train for 2 weeks. With a lot of speeches and intense practice the team was able to achieve racial harmony and become brothers. I believe that racism is still a big issue in this world today. Racism is never going to day because there’s too much of it, it’s like if we’re surrounded by it. We all are human beings someone shouldn’t be treated different because he’s of a different race. At the end of the day we are all the same.
